King of Qawwali - Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Hello !!
This blog is for all the admirers of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, to discuss and understand his music.
Certainly he is the most famous Qawwal this world has known and part of it due to his willingness to experiment with his music to reach to new audiences.
His music to me is ethereal, sublime.
And many of his fans have felt the same.
He has a large following among people who can not understand the meaning of the words being sung but still enjoy his music.
It's really true that music transcends all barriers.
In this blog I would post lyrics of some of his famous Qawwalies and translate it according to the best of my knowledge.
It is for all those ardent admirers who love the music of Shehansha-e-Qawwali, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
It will be particularly helpful to those who are not well verses with the languages in which Nusrat sings.
